I never exactly thought that there exists such a beautiful spot near my home.
Big-ot Falls is located in Brgy. San Isidro, Hilongos, Leyte. It has become popular to the Hilongosnons earlier this year when the incumbent Mayor, Hon. Albert Villahermosa, visited the place. When the visit was shared online, Big-ot Falls has become the talk of the town.
Big-ot Falls is not yet popular to people outside of Hilongos. I am also thinking of keeping it away from the outside world to preserve it, but it is too difficult not to blog about its pristine beauty. It really was captivating. ❤

Mt. Naupa has become popular to mountaineers, campers, and trekkers since last year. We got curious about it, that is why, when my friends invited me to have a camping trip to Mt. Naupa, I did not hesitate to come!
We decided to pack our bags and spend our September 24th and 25th at the top of the mountain. That’s a weekend, of course. We wanted to see how the sundown and sunup would look like from the top so we decided to start our trip at noon and rode a bus to Minglanilla, Cebu.

If there is a Rookie Island Award for last year, I would say that Kalanggaman Island would be nominated for it. This gorgeous island has caught the attention of the country starting 2013 and the number of people visiting it has been growing ever since.
This summer 2016, my friends and I decided to personally witness the beauty of this island and discover why Filipinos have included this in the list for the must-visit islands of the Philippines.
